STARTUP-NIGHTS IN WINTERTHUR 2022

Parkn'Sleep at the Startup Nights

The sixth "Startup Nights" took place in Winterthur on November 3 and 4. This year, the Entrepreneuer Club, which organizes the event, is aiming high. In concrete terms, this means that the "Startup Nights" took place over two days instead of the usual one. Many visitors arrived spontaneously and checked in before the entrance - surely there are parallels with our product? In addition to workshops and talks, over 140 startups were on site with their innovations.

We were able to be present on both days with our Parkn'Sleep "booth" and introduce our product to the visitors. This time, however, it was not a typical camper audience, but many people interested in startups, investors, business angels, coaches and well-known speakers such as Bettina Hein (Höhle der Löwen), Pascal Bieri (planted) or Nicholas Hänny (NIKIN). For two days, the who's who of the Swiss start-up scene were able to exchange ideas, network and learn a lot from each other.

Adam Opuchlikco-founder and CMO of Parkn'Sleep, then gave a short talk on Parkn'Sleep on the second day on the "Unicorn Stage". He had already given a presentation on "Growth Marketing Hacks" last Monday. With his many years of experience in the field of digital advertising and growth hacking, he was able to explain the complex topic to the audience and visitors to the stand in an exciting and simple way. In general, the ongoing themes of growth, leadership and mindset were once again very much in evidence at the event.

Due to its size, the "Startup Nights" no longer took place in Technopark, but in the Eulachhallen on two stages - mostly in English. "We wanted to expand the event to the whole of Switzerland and also appeal to people from French-speaking Switzerland, for example," says Alyssia Kugler, explaining the reason for the language change, which led to people from England, Estonia and even the USA registering. "Besides, English is the language of the start-up world." Source: 84xo.ch

Another novelty this year was an app for meeting potential investors, cooperation partners or founders directly on site: In a specially set up area with bar tables, the two "matches", who had previously made an appointment digitally, arranged to meet for 20 minutes of "speed dating". The Entrepreneuer Club also extended its event to two days to allow more time for these discussions. A large number of program items ran in parallel so that participants did not miss out on what seemed interesting to them.

Networking around the "campfire" at Parkn'Sleep

The nail stick has become indispensable

After the awards ceremony on the main stage, the organizers invited everyone to the final party, which lasted until the early hours of the morning. The atmosphere was great and you could literally see the ideas, dreams and motivation on the faces of the dancing people. Will we be back next year? No question!
