Spending the night in a motorhome or campervan should be spontaneous, safe and legal. This is what two camping enthusiasts from Lucerne set out to achieve when the problem of wild camping in Swiss tourist regions became increasingly serious. After successfully expanding into Europe, "Parkn'Sleep" is now launching the annual subscription for campers.

Founded in 2021, the Traveltech start-up has its finger on the pulse of the times with a digital solution: hosts such as municipalities, restaurants, mountain railroads or farms can advertise their unused spaces with just a few clicks, let campers stay overnight and earn money - without having to be on site themselves or take reservations.

Campers can see where a pitch is available in real time in the app and can drive to it spontaneously without making a reservation. Once on site, they can pay digitally via the app and spend the night safely and undisturbed. According to studies, 87% of campers today are spontaneous travelers. They want to enjoy the freedom of a motorhome trip and choose their destination as spontaneously and at short notice as possible - far away from overcrowded campsites.

Pitches with annual subscription

The founders have gone one step further and launched a so-called "flat rate" for campers. With the "Camper Card Unlimited", you can stay at any host throughout Europe free of charge all year round. The annual card costs CHF 449 and can be purchased here and can be purchased here.

Largest digital campsite in Europe

Parkn'Sleep already offers over 9,000 pitches at over 800 different locations in 23 countries. A growing community of 25,000 active campers is already using the system. Parkn'Sleep has thus developed into Europe's largest digital campsite in a very short space of time.

Award-winning tourism concept

Every pitch is legal, checked and linked to local regulations and tariffs. Municipalities receive their tourism taxes directly via the platform and "wild campers" become welcome guests in the region. Parkn'Sleep was honored with the highest Swiss tourism award "Milestone Excellence in Tourism" in 2021 for its innovative solution.
